Itinerary: 13 Days Namibia Safari to Central & Northern Namibia
This safari is ideal for first timers that don’t have much time. You experience the majestic and the scenically impressive Erongo Mountains, after which you continue to the coast of Swakopmund, a small dreamy coastal town where numerous activities like boat cruises and desert tours are offered. Also a flight over the high dunes of Sossusvlei can be arranged.
Along the wild, romantic Atlantic coast you travel past Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg, into the rough and rocky Damaraland, home of the desert-dwelling elephants and black rhinos.
Here you visit the rock engraving paradise of Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage site , where the highest concentration of rock paintings and engravings is found on the African continent.
In the vicinity of Kamanjab you have the opportunity to visit a Himba project, before you continue to the Etosha National Park. On extensive games drive you explore the great Etosha National Park.
Experience free roaming African wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, giraffe, rhinos, zebras and different species of antelope on your safari through Namibia’s most famous national park.
Visit the historic Waterberg, where you can stay on the Plateau or at one of the surrounding private farms.
On the last day you travel via Okahandja to Windhoek.
